"Lenni" delivers professional performance and convenience at only $9,900

CARROLL, Iowa (June 1, 2007) – American Professional Quilting Systems (APQS) announces the newest addition in their line of high quality quilting machines.

The Lenni, which is derived from the name Millennium, is a smaller, more economical version of the longarm machine that it is named after. Although the two models share many similar features, there is one major difference. While most longarm quilting machines cost between $14,000 and $18,000, the Lenni sells for only $9,900.

"Longarm quilting is one of the fastest growing segments of the quilting market. We decided to take our 25 years of experience in quality manufacturing and stitch regulation technology, and put it in a machine that everybody can afford," said Dawn Cavanaugh, APQS's National Director of Education.

A little smaller than the Millennium, the 34-pound Lenni sits on a 10 foot table. (One of the tables available can easily be disassembled and stored in five foot sections.) Its 20 inches of throat space equals that of the more expensive Discovery, Liberty, and George machines. It is the first stitch-regulated longarm machine to retail at such a low price.

"It's an impressive machine for an extraordinary price," said Cavanaugh. "The Lenni doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive machines, but you can't beat the quality for the price and convenience."

About APQS:
American Professional Quilting Systems (APQS) is a longarm quilting machine manufacturer based in Carroll, Iowa. APQS longarm quilting machines combine aircraft aluminum with state-of-the-art electronics to provide ultra light construction and effortless operation.
